Mineral Make-up is here!

Sorry I have taken some time off from posting. With so many products out there I wanted to try many of them before posting. One of my favorites that was just released May 1st is the new Mineral Make-up from BeautiControl. BeautiControl does not release products to follow trends. They only release products when they feel it is the best product. They have been working hard to perfect this line and I feel they have done so.

We have all seen the ads for mineral make-up and I, in fact, once used a popular brand of mineral make-up. BeautiControl's Mineral make-up is so light and airy. It gives wonderful coverage without making it seem like I am wearing a lot on my face. This will be my favorite foundation for summer! It doesn't make my face feel or look dry, which has happened with other products I have used prior to BeautiControl's skin care regime.

It does take some getting use to if you are not familiar with applying a loose powder. First you pour a little, and I mean a little, into the lid of your container. Then, using the applicator brush swirl the powder around in the lid. Gently tap the brush on the side of the lid to gt off the access. Then with a sweeping motion lightly dust the powder from the center of your face outward with light strokes. Always start with a small amount because you can always go back over and reapply if you need heavier coverage, it is hard to remove the extra if you get too much on the first application.

With this product, I do recommend using the Secret Agent Cover-up prior to using the powder. Secret Agent does give you a smooth palate to start with and makes application much more seamless. As a nice bonus, BeautiControl's Mineral Make-up does contain SPF 15!

Skinlogics Gold Maintenance Set

Let's back up and talk about the importance of taking care of our skin. This starts with our daily routine. As we age, we start to lose firmness in our skin, fine lines and wrinkles appear, our skin starts to have discolorations.
